Combat Testing 3 - Melee

It was close, but Dagreth still fell on his side. His already wounded wrist cracked against the stone floor, sending pain up through his arm and into his shoulder.
He unholstered his baton, ready for the next stage of prisoner control.

Watashi's hands were still cuffed. His mobility was heavily hindered. But he had started it, so he had no other option but to risk it.

Watashi charges at Karas

Karas brought the baton across his face once, before going for his ribs and thigh.

Watashi was able to turn in time to save his face but gets hit at the back of his head.
He successfully steers clear of the blow directed towards his ribs, but couldn't move his thigh in time.
Nevertheless the damage was not too much.

Watashi jumps on the adjacent wall to gain some momentum and strikes with his elbows on Karas' shoulder (the baton one)

Karas moved to hook his baton through the crook of his arm so he could take him to the floor and mount him.

Karas managed to get his baton hooked before Watashi landed and twisted around to throw him on the ground while keeping both hands on either side of the baton.

Watashi tastes dust as he falls on his belly. He regrets going for the hit so bluntly. His hands are still bound, and to add more difficulties, they are now in a position that hurts.

"Now what Genius!?" Watashi asks himself, frustrated at his foolish move.

He tries to kick Karas in a desperate attempt to hit him.

Karas wrenched the baton around, straining the bones in Watashi'sbarm, causing severe pain. "Stop resisting or I'll break it!"

Tomoko closed her eyes against the pain and began scooting towards the pair to try to help.

"you'll break it anyways won't you." Watashi smiled wryly and with all last hopes, he kicks Karas between his legs with his free leg as he watches Tomoko crawl up to him.

"You know, now that you mentioned it..." He twisted sharply, breaking the bones with a sickening snap. But shortly afterwards, he felt sharp teeth sink into the back of his knee. He cried out, turning around to whack Tomoko in the head with the baton. It connected and she collapsed, but it left Karas unbalanced.

Pain shot up through his arm as the bones snapped and Watashi cringed.... but all these years in the prison had made him almost used to the pains.

He didn't lose time getting up, keeping his broken arm steady and punched Karas in the throat, followed by a kick to his gut.
